We conceived a new visual design language from first principles to bring energy efficiency to life for our customers. Testing and iteration allowed us to validate its effectiveness for the business, improving user retention by over 30% and reducing customer complaints over 50%.
Custom iconography representing in-home appliances and smart devices connects the online experience with the offline world. A fun, minimalistic style makes complex integrations feel fun and accessible.
Streamlined signup flow
A one-week design sprint helped lift conversion rates over 10% at minimal cost. We limited each screen to one field (reducing cognitive overhead) and pre-invoked the appropriate input elements at each step (reducing number of taps). Wireframes and prototypes helped validate efficacy and costs prior to implementation.
Product teams get one chance to onboard every user. Rather than spend precious moments on multiple topics, we hit one concept with extreme clarity and invest in progressive education throughout the experience. We limited onboarding bounce rates to less than 1% and motivated users to invest additional attention into subsequent moments of their first session.
